Shackleton's Quest - 20 day cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula, the Falklands and South Georgia

The Professor Multanovskiy and her identical sister ship, the Akademik Shokalskiy, both cruise the same itinerary. They were originally designed and built in Finland for polar and oceanographic research and carry a maximum of 48 passengers in comfortable outside cabins. With an ice-strengthened hull and passive stabilizers they are able to navigate more remote and scenic areas, sailing smoothly to where many other vessels cannot reach. The Multanovskiy is a 235 foot long vessel that has been extensively refurbished. The Captain and crew are Russian, expedition staff are international and the chefs European. Experienced expedition staff lead shore excursions and give daily lectures on board. There is a library, sauna, lounge and bar and two dining rooms as well as a doctor on board.

Selected departures offer optional sea kayaking and antarctic camping, at an additional cost. Please ask us for details.

The cruise length is 20 days. The cruise price above is per person in a twin cabin with lower births (lower births must be requested at the time of booking as some cabins have upper and lower births for the same price). The cruise price above also includes one nights accommodation in Ushuaia, Argentina, the night prior to embarkation and return transfers to and from the boat.
All tours start and finish in Ushuaia.

All meals and excursions are included. Hotel accommodation with continental breakfast the night prior to embarkation is included. Return land transfers to and from the boat within Ushuaia are included. Transatlantic and internal flights are not included.
