Ocean Nova

Classic Antarctic Peninsula - 12 day cruise

The ship Ocean Nova (previously known as the Sarpik Ittuk) offers you the chance to experience ultimate adventure in great comfort. This 73 metre expedition ship is modified to operate in ice-filled waters and has many of the amenities of a classic passenger cruise vessel. The ship was upgraded in 2000 and once again in 2006 to include a glass-enclosed forward observation lounge on the top deck where lectures on the Antarctic environment are given. The recent upgrades to the boat offer travellers even more of a comfortable retreat after days of exploring ashore.

The vessel is guided by Danish officers with extensive experience in polar navigation. With 42 outside cabins only (all with private facilities), a passenger capacity of 96, a spacious dining room and a comfortable library, the Ocean Nova is a perfect expedition ship for discovering Antarctica.

If you are the type of traveller who wants adventure but likes the creature comforts, then this expedition ship is for you.

The cruise length is 12 days. The cruise price is per person in a twin cabin with lower births and private facilities. It also includes one nights accommodation in Ushuaia, Argentina, the night prior to embarkation and return transfers to and from the boat.

All tours start and finish in Ushuaia.

All meals and excursions are included. Hotel accommodation with continental breakfast the night prior to embarkation is included. Return land transfers to and from the boat within Ushuaia are included. Transatlantic and internal flights are not included. Prices may vary due to changes in the dollar / sterling exchange.
