Located on a slender peninsular with beaches either side, the Four Seasons is Costa Rica’s first true luxury resort. 153 spacious, well-equipped guest rooms and suites wind up a hill affording excellent views of the area.

Sitting atop a narrow plateau on the tip of the Papagayo Peninsula, Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica brings casual luxury and exclusive service to a pristine setting, one hundred metres above the Pacific Ocean and flanked by beaches on both sides. Four Seasons Resort offers exclusive accommodation and services, sweeping views, a full service Spa, Peter Burwash International Tennis Centre and an Arnold Palmer signature golf course.

The Resort's unique architecture is inspired by natural flora and fauna, carefully following Costa Rica's stringent environmental standards to create a retreat that blends in with its surrounding - no building is taller than the treetops. On the western slope of the peninsula, guest rooms are spread out in low level buildings near the water, while private Residences and Suites are perched on top of the hill in separate units. Between the two beaches lie the Resort’s main facilities.

Guest rooms and suites are imaginatively crafted with indigenous woods and stone finishes. Each room provides a spacious outdoor terrace or balcony living area with mesmerising vista. Sliding louvered doors between sleeping and living spaces maximise privacy and let in the refreshing sea breezes.

Four Seasons Resort features four restaurants, each celebrating the beauty of the location. The Italian Di Mare is open for dinner and serves a cuisine inspired by local produce and seafood. The casual Papagayo serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Congo's is a shaded pavilion offering grilled specialities next to the pools and beaches. These are complemented by Tico's pool bar, with live music each evening.
The resort boasts four pools and two beaches on the Pacific Ocean and Culebra Bay. There is also a Peter Burwash International Tennis Centre and a Spa & Fitness Centre, with state-of-the-art training facilities and a complete range of spa treatments.

A ten minute drive by complimentary shuttle, Four Seasons Golf Club Costa Rica boasts an Arnold Palmer signature course and a unique clubhouse. Designed with the resort golfer in mind, the course rests on the tip of the Papagayo Peninsula. Cooled by the prevailing breezes, the course affords sweeping ocean views from most of its holes. These are provided with multiple tees, ample undulating fairways with dramatic elevation changes and strategic bunkering, and large greens with exciting contouring.

Overlooking the 18th hole and the Pacific Ocean, Caracol Clubhouse was named after its unique roof, designed to mimic the shape of a conch shell (caracol). The Clubhouse features a restaurant offering lunches and steak house style dining, a proshop as well as clinics and private lessons..
